Meet Monica Andrews, DMD

Dr. Monica Andrews is a dedicated and compassionate general dentist at Charm City Smiles, known for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. While proficient in all areas of dentistry, Dr. Andrews particularly enjoys performing root canals, implant dentistry, and providing Botox and dermal fillers for facial aesthetics. She excels at making patients feel comfortable, focusing on reducing anxiety and ensuring a positive, stress-free dental experience.

Dr. Andrews earned a Bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University in New Brunswick before pursuing her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at NYU College of Dentistry. After dental school, Dr. Andrews completed a residency in general dentistry at New York Presbyterian in Queens, where she gained extensive exposure to trauma and oral surgery. This residency provided invaluable hands-on experience and enhanced her ability to manage complex cases in both trauma and surgical settings.

To further hone her skills, Dr. Andrews completed a year-long Maxicourse at Rutgers University, specializing in advanced implantology, and traveled to Colombia for live implant training at the New York Implant Institute. Additionally, she pursued extensive training in Botox and dermal fillers for facial aesthetics, staying at the forefront of innovations in both dental and aesthetic care.

Dr. Andrews remains committed to professional growth, continually engaging in continuing education to ensure that patients receive the most up-to-date care available. Outside of the office, she values time with family and enjoys traveling, having visited over 22 countries, which has fostered a deep appreciation for diverse cultures and a love for exploration.
